I'm thinking about retiring my wacom CTL 480 (cable is frayed and I can't be bothered to get another cable) and i kinda want to move away from getting wacom products for a LOAD of reasons

I'm looking for something that's similar but HOPEFULLY with the dang express keys on the side

I'm currently looking into huion and I'm wondering for anyone who happens to use it, how well do the pen tablets work with clip studio paint and is the dang software any good?

CSP is the main thing I use and I want to make sure i'm able to use it there or anywhere outside for that matter

Thanks in advance and stuff =u=

as a sidenote, i already kinda know what I might be getting, i just want to know if the brand is good and if the software works like it should

because I've fought so much with wacom's software that I don't want to go through that again

tho i'm def not opposed to any recommendations as long as they are pen tablets and not displays

@melaniemoo i use a gaomon 1560 pen tablet the colors brilliant and has lots of express keys. along with the fact the software for it is very small, ive used it with krita, photoshop and clip studio with no issues, the program to change the express keys is very easy to change and also you can save profiles and import them when you want to use a certain one

@Drako_Fenris Not really looking for a display tablet atm, don't really have the space nor the money

but it does look neat ^

@melaniemoo Well, it depends entirely on your budget. I have a Huion GT-191 and a Cintiq 16 and I love both of them. Despite the fact I got the Huion on sale for like, 350$ and the Cintiq is like 700$, they are basically the exact same except for the Cintiq having slightly better colors and parallaxing. However, I have heard excellent things about XP-Pen! Look around, there's a lot more resources and options than there used to be.

@melaniemoo I've had a huion and CSP for a few years now and have had no issues. It's pretty easy to set up. If ever you have to reconnect for whatever the reason it's like zero hassle. I've not had any issues esp like the ones wacom gave me.
